Paweł Moleda was born in Poland but has been living in Middelburg, The Netherlands, for almost 12 years now. Despite being born deaf and spending the first years of his childhood in silence, Pawel has evolved into a passionate dancer and performer. He has been taking dance and theaterclasses for over six years, in both Poland and The Netherlands. His talent and dedication even led him to participate in Poland’s Got Talent.
Pawel lives for Hip Hop and Dancehall. He actively engages in various dance projects, including Move to Meet, Fish Dance When They Are Not Sleeping, and Zuam (Futurists), and is a regular at Sessadance in Vlissingen. In the coming years, Paweł aims to refine his skills and deepen his love for dance and theater. His ultimate dream is to become more involved in dance and theater projects and to advocate for a more inclusive environment for deaf dancers in the Dutch performing arts community.
“Dancing suits me; it’s my form of expression without standing out in the crowd. I belong somewhere, and people respect me for who I am. Everyone has their own rhythm, and anyone can dance. While most people hear music, I primarily feel the vibrations of the bass.”
