Olga Siemienczuk (1989) – is a coloratura soprano, with a wide vocal range of almost four octaves up to the high C7, an improviser and teacher based in Berlin. With a strong grounding in classical technique and an investigative mindset, Olga moves easily between opera, contemporary music, and experimental vocal performance. She actively explores the expressive potential of the human voice and leads workshops in atonal improvisation. A committed interpreter of contemporary music, she has performed at leading festivals such as La Biennale di Venezia, Festival Musica in Strasbourg, Warsaw Autumn, and Propagations in Marseille. In the 2023/2024 season, Olga performed the role of E2 in the world premiere of INES by Ondřej Adámek at Oper Köln. In 2022, she participated in the German premiere of Adámek’s chamber opera Seven Stones at Konzerthaus Dortmund as Maid/Storyteller 1. Olga is also a member of Adámek’s n.e.s.e.v.e.n. ensemble. Their performance, Reaching Out, a coproduction with Compagnie Humaine, received the Golden Lion Prize for Best Production at the 66th International Festival of Contemporary Music at La Biennale di Venezia. In 2023, she appeared on the recording of Sensational Bliss by Eunho Chang (Kairos). This piece received the Polish “Muzyczne Orły” (Music Eagles) Prize for Best International Recording. She began her musical studies at the age of seven as a pianist and graduated from the Frédéric Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in 2024. After graduating, she continued her studies with leading vocalists such as Olga Pasichnyk, Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Alda Caiello, and Sarah Maria Sun.
Olga has a long history of collaboration with Jerzy Bielski and Futurists, previously working on the performances not only FUTURISTS, Zamenhof Project: Breaking the Codes, NONline Opera, and ZUAM. She was also involved in the Futurists’ research residency and the development of the Fish Dance prototype.
