Futurists make…

interdisciplinary music theatre and audiovisual works with new technologies. They started as an initiative of an Amsterdam-based Polish composer, stage director and performer, Jerzy Bielski in 2018, with the aim of bringing a completely new kind of music theatre to the today’s Dutch and international performing arts scene. A space has been created, in which truly interdisciplinary works are made, with different art forms (music, theatre, video, sound art, dance, installation, VR) being closely and freely intertwined with each other from the earliest moments of creation.

Fish dance when they are not sleeping

Fish dance when they are not sleeping (Opera for the Deaf) is an immersive interdisciplinary opera performance based on a collaboration between two cultures or worlds, the ones who use voice and the ones who use gestures to communicate and create.

ZUAM

This immersive music theatre performance for 4 singers, Deaf dancer, electronics and visuals will take a form of a 2 hour long ritual, appealing directly to our imagination and subconsciousness. It tells the story of a cyber-ancient tribe living outside of the known reality, suspended between pre-historic times and a distant future.
